Here's another interview by CAUSECAST. Marie talks about the Generation Project and a little about the reason she started posting videos on YouTube.





I was just playing a little show at Hotel Cafe. It was just another show. One of the hundred other shows that I did in L.A. and some A&R people happened to show up to that show and I got signed. It was just simple and quick and that was that.

And then I went and made an album, handed it to the label and the label was like :" Cool. We're gonna put that to the side for now because we've got Hilary Diff and Jesse McCartney." and all these Disney kids and it's really easy to put out those albums. They already have a built-in audience.

What Does Peace Mean?



Here's a short interview by Causecast, who has asked Marie what PEACE means to her. What do you think? It's like an old man with a long be beard? Or a time when you do not have to be worry? Let's see what is her answer. :)



Moreover, Marie's music movie "Feel" is now undergoing editing. Marie has seen the first edit, and she said it's turning out so well. Hope the stills and the movie will be released soon. :)

Way to write songs?

Here's a new video from Marie showing us how she comes up with a song. This is the first time for Marie to show us her way to write songs! AND also, there's a sneak peek of her new song which is so inspiring.

I really wanted to put up a video for an original song because I've done a few covers for the last videos. Then I thought to myself, I've never put up a video as to how I write songs. There's no magic to it really but I thought some of you may find it kind of interesting to see how it goes. This was one inspired by my incredible grandmother who has been ill but has been fighting to stay alive...This song is actually not a downer! It's supposed to be inspirational and recognize how strong the human spirit can be...
